With a passion for songwriting and sonic exploration, they set off in search of the perfect match for their musical vision. Enter Dan and Kasey, a new and an old friend, bringing their own unique songwriting styles and ideas into the fold. With the circle complete, the band began crafting their art, creating sounds and songs that explored new territory for them and yet still holding true to the hook. The results are found in textured songs that are sometimes spacey and subtle and somtimes sweepingly explosive. In February of 2003 Mercury Sound recorded its debut e.p. and is hitting the west coast show circuit, playing to fans anywhere and everywhere with the sole purpose of spreading the Mercury Sound.
